Professional Passions

As long as I can remember I have always loved drawing.
Several encouraging art teachers & a thick skin to ignore a few vociferous detractors as I grew up (in a military environment), a borderline obsessive interest in Terence Conran & the Memphis Collective and an eye-opening Foundation at Cambridge College of Art meant the habit stuck fast. Misquoting Dani Rojas from Ted Lasso fame….Drawing Is Life.
Although the design world has progressed dramatically...along with it the value of a great sketch in the current mid-journey-hyper-real-visualised-in-a-minute-all-show-no-go-fuss-fest, problem solving with a pen is still my best friend, doesn't matter whether it's brand strategy or furniture design, it's like Happy Feet when the music plays. You can't ignore it. Altogether now.....head, hands, pens and plans.
